National Gallery of Canada Creative Writing Workshop with Frances Itani

Inspire your writing with the paintings of Alex Colville and the guidance of acclaimed authors. Open to all levels of writing ability.

Frances Itani is an internationally known, bestselling author of 16 books and her work has been translated in 17 countries. She has won many awards, including a Commonwealth Prize for her novel Deafening, for which she was also shortlisted for the IMPAC Dublin International Literary Award. She is a three-time winner of the CBC Literary Award and her most recent novel, Tell, was shortlisted for the 2014 Scotiabank Giller Prize. A well-known teacher and public speaker, she is a Member of the Order of Canada. In English.
